In Abobo and Bingerville, Ivory Coast, extreme poverty is the way of life. Women have little hope of changing their circumstances due to lack of credit and capital investment, illiteracy, and lack of basic business skills. ADRA will create women’s self-help groups to provide literacy and small business training, establish savings groups, and create revolving funds to offer microcredit loans to female entrepreneurs.
