Women in Guidan Roumji, Niger, live in extreme poverty. Beekeeping is an activity that brings a significant income to a rural farming family, making a difference that changes their future. With an additional source of income, mothers can feed their children and send their girls to school. ADRA will provide beekeeping kits and training to produce honey and will teach the women how to manage their income. Organized into cooperatives, women will share a portion of their income and reinvest in other women in their community.
