Because of skyrocketing food prices, the average elderly woman in Kyrgyzstan can no longer feed herself. With an average pension of $67 per month, the elderly are choosing between shelter/electricity and food. Too many elderly women are already suffering from malnutrition. ADRA will deliver monthly parcels of basic food items to the most vulnerable.
